Boy's Room Box Pleat Valances

Box pleat valances are a nice taylored look and adds a more masculine feel to any boys room. Use a contrasting fabric to peak out between the pleats. Buttons can add a little more detail without being too feminine.

Fringe and Buttons

This entry way built-in bench needed some soft fabric and a little padding. When I made the pillows I had 3 different styles of fabric to work with. I made the bench with all the same fabric to create an even background for the coordinating pillows to rest on.
Have fun with your accent pillows they don't have to be all the same. Add fringe on one, buttons on the other and add some tassels to another!

Have a seat

This chair was for a client of mine, she had an old chair and I recovered it with new fabric to fit her home. Try to re-work the pieces you already own instead of automatically thinking "buy new". That way the pieces feel more custom and tailored to your style and home.

Guest Bedroom

My oldest daughter has been moved out for over 9 years and I finally transformed her room into our guest suite! I decided to do gathered stationary panels with an extra long top ruffle made with coordinating fabric. The fabrics are also used to make the daybed cover with ruffle attached to the top and matching pillows. The fabric for this room I purchased a long time ago because I fell in love with it and have finally found the right room for it.

Borded Swag Valance

When I made this swag valance I mounted it on a board and used many different fabrics and trims. The multiple patterns and textures of the fabric compliment each other nicely! Also the different trims used on the fabrics bring dimension to the swags. Let me know what you think of this layered look!

Some of my creations . . .

This turned out to be the cutest little window seat. The pillows are made from the fabric of the duvet cover and panels. Also, I did the pink stationary balloon valance that frames the window seat. I thought this turned out very nice . . . let me know what you think!
