Great Room

For this great room there was a lot of little nooks and the home owner wanted to take advatange of them. By providing comfortable spaces for her guest and also coordinating them together to create one big Great Room!
This is trellis fabric we found from Kravet has been very popular this season. We did not do a pleated top on these panels to allow for full coverage of the french doors and side lights.

Using the same trellis fabric in the same room creates a unity and makes a huge room feel intimate. Although this may look like a roman shade it is not. This is a stationary mock roman and is mounted on the inside. This valance over the sink covering a double window gives the effect of one big window!

Fringe and Buttons

This entry way built-in bench needed some soft fabric and a little padding. When I made the pillows I had 3 different styles of fabric to work with. I made the bench with all the same fabric to create an even background for the coordinating pillows to rest on.
Have fun with your accent pillows they don't have to be all the same. Add fringe on one, buttons on the other and add some tassels to another!

Pillows Pillows Pillows . . .

I am very excited to share with all of you my first post! I thought I would start out this blog with some pillows I have just completed. These pillows were all custum tailored for my clients with fabric from there duvet covers and draperies. You can do so much out of the extra fabric from your big project into a little project like pillows! Take a look at how they turned out in the room!
