Is your wedding dress in a box in your closet never to be seen anymore? Give it a new life by having me convert your wedding dress into a baptismal gown for your loved ones. You started your new life the day you wore your wedding dress and now your grandchildren can start there new life through baptism wearing their new outifit made from yours.
This chair was for a client of mine, she had an old chair and I recovered it with new fabric to fit her home. Try to re-work the pieces you already own instead of automatically thinking "buy new". That way the pieces feel more custom and tailored to your style and home.
My oldest daughter has been moved out for over 9 years and I finally transformed her room into our guest suite! I decided to do gathered stationary panels with an extra long top ruffle made with coordinating fabric. The fabrics are also used to make the daybed cover with ruffle attached to the top and matching pillows. The fabric for this room I purchased a long time ago because I fell in love with it and have finally found the right room for it.
Here are some of the headboards I have done this week. There are two more on the way! I can make them any shape or size you need. If you can dream it I can make it!
When I made this swag valance I mounted it on a board and used many different fabrics and trims. The multiple patterns and textures of the fabric compliment each other nicely! Also the different trims used on the fabrics bring dimension to the swags. Let me know what you think of this layered look!
